Sun Microsystems Launches New Web2.0 Sample Application Catalog

SAN FRANCISCO, CA [March 12, 2007] – Sun Microsystems (NASDAQ: SUNW) today launched a new Web Developers' Resource Center samples catalog. In an effort to demonstrate the latest Web 2.0 technologies, W. Hardy Interactive was hired by Sun to manage servers and hosting of advanced Java applications and to build a launch page which allows for indexing of various new technologies. The new technologies featured include Ajax, Phobos, jMaki, Dynamic Faces and more.

W. Hardy Interactive worked closely with Sun engineering to manage deployment of applications while building a network of servers and a catalog that allows visitors to the Sun Developers Network (SDN) to view a summary of the samples and launch live demonstrations. Some sample applications feature full pages with complete details and links to resources. The staff at W. Hardy Interactive installed and tested applications, as well as configured and managed Solaris based servers using Sun's application server and the open-source application server, GlassFish.

The launch page can be viewed at: http://developers.sun.com/web/samples
