Acadia National Park
W. Hardy has had an ongoing relationship with Acadia National Park since 2000, one of the most visited National Parks in the country. We built Acadia’s Intranet with interactive database technology that allows over 150 park-wide staff members to easily communicate and post ongoing information on a daily basis. We also built an on-line reservations system to help the park manage camping requests.

We've been developing travel planning software since our founding in 1995. The new GoVermont.com represents more than a decade of commitment to the industry and reflects the trend in web technology known as Web 2.0. Featuring lodging from the Travelocity partner network and events directly from the State of Vermont, as well as our own database of mountain resorts, nordic ski centers, attractions and golf courses, it provides users with all the necessary information on their Green Mountain destination in any season. Technology features like AJAX-ified paging of search results and clipboard functionality, tab views, interactive maps and keyword auto-completion make for a unique and enriching user experience.

W. Hardy produced www.VeteranTribute.com for promoting a new book by Robert A. & Robert B. Fletcher, Remembrance: A Tribute to America's Veterans and its companion CD. An all-new design inspired by the book features rich slices of artwork from its pages, sample tracks from the CD, a Virtual Tour of the book and secure online ordering. Robert A. Fletcher is the artist behind Remembrance, who lives and paints on his farm in Warwick, N.Y. His son, Robert B. "Rob" Fletcher, author of Blues Harmonica for Beginners and Blues Grooves for Rhythm Guitar, among others, wrote the text for the book and performed on tracks throughout the Remembrance CD.

We've been working with leading northeast advertising agency Kelliher Samets Volk (KSV) since 2007, providing ColdFusion, JavaScript, PHP, X/HTML, CSS and ActionScript programming, as well as database development, Flash animation, graphic design, hosting and strategic consultation, among other services. Working closely with their Burlington and New York offices, we've been involved in projects for many of their clients, including the Stowe mountain resort, the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation, the Vermont Energy Investment Corporation and Schlesinger Associates. To date we've completed more than 100 projects for this fast-paced firm and host a significant number of the websites belonging to KSV and their clientele.

Walter Hardy enjoys an extensive relationship with MuleSoft where he has developed major documentation for the Mule Studio and CloudHub products since 2011. Walter developed on-ramp and advanced tutorials to help with the wide adoption of these new technologies. This includes building projects which exemplify technology features, and producing detailed documentation. Walter also worked within the Eclipse development environment to develop help content contained in XML files and compiled into product binaries.

W. Hardy has had an ongoing relationship with Sun Microsystems since 2004. We were initially hired to develop a 12-article “Learning Curve” series on Java technology, and to host and manage an Instant Messaging system for Sun developers on www.java.net. Today we continue to write articles and host the collaboration service. In addition, we have developed Flash Quick Tours that highlight the features of both the NetBeans and Java Studio Creator IDE’s. We also provide hosting and project management services to help Sun manage and deploy Web 2.0 applications. We work with Sun on various leading technologies including Java and Ajax, and work closely on their software products including GlassFish, Solaris, and Application and Collaboration servers.

Working closely with the Vermont Ski Areas Association, we designed and produced SkiVermont.com as the official State of Vermont winter tourism Website for the years 1996 to 2001. The latest edition included extensive database functionality and rules based technology that built pages on-the-fly based on the visitor’s interest and demographics. We also integrated our Travel Planner product and managed lodging content for the State of Vermont.
